All dog breeds differentiate alot, so yeah not every dog of the same breed is going to be alike. What fun would that be?
Dogs are individuals first and foremost, and while choosing a breed, you may be able to narrow it down a little more... breed alone does not define how a dog will act personality-wise. I dogsit for 2 Golden Retrievers, brothers from the same litter, and they are like night/day.
