The only thing is, it will likely break down on you after a year or so. So we buy ours at Costco. With their crazy return policy, whenever it breaks down, we return it, they give us cash, and we buy another one.

Recently we switched to using the Mint cleaner for our laminate floors. We still like the Roomba but the Mint cleaner is so quiet that our yorkie doesn't mind it. Also we can run it while we're at home.

There's no Costco here

I got one a couple years ago, and it worked for 3 months and then wouldn't even turn on. Since it was so long ago, maybe they have all the bugs worked out by now, but I still won't buy one after that.
