I use the Biogroom Silk Creme Rinse. They may not have samples of that, but I assure you it is well worth buying a bottle. You would have to order it online.
With the Silk Creme, as DvlshAngel pointed out, dilute it big time. I put a little in a measuring cup and then fill the cup with warm water and stir. Then I pour it down my dog's back and rinse. With your pup, you don't need much on her head, just enough to close the hair cuticle after shampooing. Dilute it with a lot of water.
