I can not think of anything surgical a breeder should do on their own except tails and claws...and Yes, it is best to have a breeder or accepting vet teach it...but clamp a tail is such a simple, almost errorless procedure, one can really learn from a video...
I am 100% against breeder ear cropping which is common in this country. Infact I am not in favor of ear cropping...I realize certain breeds lose their "type" uncropped" but it is done much later then tails and there is a lot of pain and healing time involved.
