Same thing happened with Lhasa's in England, when Saxonsprings Hackensack won Crufts Supreme Champion in 1984, everyone wanted a Lhasa. When 101 Dalmations came out, everyone wanted a dalmation.
They want the breeds without doing any research into the breed and what goes into the care of them.
Yorkies will always be #1 with me, but I will gladly have them lose popularity so the greeders will go out of business.
