Sometimes when Sasha used to throw up whether if it was because she had an upset tummy from getting into something she shouldn't have or if it was bile if she hadn't eaten, I would sometimes boil up some plain chicken and mix it with some rice for her next meal instead of her kibble. Then as long as that stayed down, I would give her kibble back at her next meal. I've heard that some puppies can throw up just from playing too hard, they just get all worked up like babies.
