I've heard it's the beet pulp in the food that causes the stains.... Don't know if that's true or not though!

A fellow YT memeber recommended EyeEnvy (www.EyeEnvy.com). It works wonders. I tested it on my parent's beagle who had horrible staining, and it's just about gone! I wish I had taken before/after photos....

The Visine makes sense to me though. Don't quote me on this, but I'm guessing it probably rinses everything out of the eye that could cause irritation and keeps theirs eye moist, so excessive tearing won't happen in the first place. I know I use it when my contacts are dry or I have something stuck in there, so why can't my dog use it too? Thanks for the tip!
