The flaps on the side don't seal. They can be rolled up to reveal the mesh on both sides, or they can be rolled down. Even if rolled down and clipped at the bottom, the side flaps don't create a complete seal. The vents are always open to let air in. I'll try to take pictures and post so you can see.
