My Tucker has issues with certian ingredients in foods that I have yet to pin point, I know he is allergic to corn and possibly chicken. Anyways, If I start feeding him a new food (which has happend often) and he starts itching by overnight, I know that he cant have it and I put him on a different one, generally the itching stops within a day or 2. I know with humans that it can take sometimes weeks for the body to detox, being a parent to a son who is allergic to just about everything and seeing a allergist this is what I was told. Im sure someone else can probably give you a more definite answer..
