I scramble my eggs and give Lucy some with her kibble every now and again. I know folks that scramble their eggs in the microwave (but I never got the hang of that). It's definitely not something I would give her every day.

My Lucy loves carrots too. I buy a tiny can of them and heat up a few (along with the juice) for breakfast.

You're probably not going to find a lot of people on this board who will agree with your Vet that Cesar's and Beneful are a good grade of kibble. There's a dog food rating site that rates each brand. Those two are full of fillers.
