Default Pet insurance covering ACL rupture?

My Molly has a partially torn ACL....trying to let it heal but I know the odds of this aren't good. I have VPI insurance for her and I know they don't cover luxating patellas and she has them in each leg. I know dogs are more prone to ACL tears with luxating patellas so I am nervous that VPI won't pay for the ACL repair. Does anyone have any experience with this? My question is....even though she does have luxating patellas, will VPI pay for her ACL repair since this was an injury? Thanks to anyone who can help!
