Our 16 week old male is almost completely pad trained. He will run into the room with pads and go on his own now. The first four weeks we had him we were taking him to the pads every couple of hours for him to go, and I think he is getting it. The only problems now are 1) He doesnt alway poop on the pad, but that is getting better, and 2) He isnt alway all the way on the pad (puts his front paws on and leaves his back end off the pad) so some gets on the floor. We are proud that he is getting it. Even when he makes the mistake of #2 above, at least he has the right idea. |
