Here are her temperatures to date morning then evening:- 99.1 - 100.2, 99.5 - 99.5,
98.7 - 100.2, 98.9 - 100.6, 98.9 - 101.1, 98.2 - 98.7, 100.4 this morning. According to the vet she is due now. What do you think? |
It sounds like she is getting close. I have found that taking temperatures is not a sure thing so you have to always be prepared. You need to watch her very closely. I would not 'leave it to her' when it comes to delivering the pups. Yorkies often need help and it can be risky letting her tear the sac and cut the cord. I have read on YT to many times where the female would not break the sac and the pup would die or the mom would accidentally cut the cord to short, exposing the guts, or they can chew off a foot. I wish you the best of luck.
