You give the tn# to the Akc (on line if you want) or call. They will either give you all
info I imagine or you can ask if the dog you are speaking about (need full name) is a
champion and ask date of birth and who the current owner is. I know once you find
a good breeder you will know how far to go with this. You have to be strong because
you may see the most beautiful pup you have ever seen and yet there are red flags
all over so why bother checking, it's bad news. It's the one that you are not quite
sure.
