If you get a nice pup like that around here or any of the other places on the internet, you will pay at least that and even more. I have seen people selling them for up to 8,000. for tiny yorkies and that is anything under five pounds. The going rate for a regular yorkie pet quality here is 500-1200. They are nice looking dogs to the unskilled eye. i think it is a very reasonable price and mine, if I ever have any, will be around that price also if I find a quality female to breed.
