Just a thought...

If the bag of food is bad, it could be from improper storage during transport, or by the retailer, or by the purchaser. There are a couple of retailers I won't buy from because their food bags feel like bricks. The kibble feels like it has been melded together.

Be sure to check the expiration dates on all food you buy and store in a cool, dry place at home. Don't use kibble from a bag that has been open for more than a month. If you transfer to another container, make sure you use all of the kibble in the container and then wash and dry before reloading.

Hope your pup is okay.
