I agree, use a cleaner with a drying agent. After we gave our Sophie her first bath we didn't dry her ears enough and she had yeast in there that multiplied. She was on medicine for 10 days, which she hated. Now, we clean her ears once a week with the cleaner and use it after baths per the vets suggestion.
