And I thought my Yorkzillas of 12 and 14.3 lbs were big! I have to explain to people all the time that Yorkies can be bigger. Both have flopped ears, which adds to the confusion.
And, on top of that, the one I got in October (rehomed) is Parti colored. So, you take a 14.3 lb dog with flopped ears that is parti colored and try to explain that he is an AKC registered, full blooded Yorkie, and people look at you like you've got 7 eyeballs. I've about given up on telling the truth, and am considering just saying he's a "terrier mix" when asked what he is. However, when I took him to the vet last week for a check-up, the groomer took one look at him and got so excited -- she recognized immediately what he was.
@markm1ller: I want to see pics of your Yorkzilla! And yes, shodanusmc was teasing and not being serious about a 140lb Yorkie, that's a Cane Corso.
