Default Red Legged Yorkie??

I had a thought (it happens once in awhile!!) - maybe my one pup is one of those "red legged Yorkies" (??). Her coat is somewhat dry and sparse. So where does that come from? Her parents and grandparents I've seen all have that long, lush silk coat. Her two brothers have the lush, beautiful hair. So does a red legged Yorkie just pop up in a litter? Or is it one of those types that start out slow growing and end up with a beautiful coat a year or two down the line? How does one know? She's pretty long legged two (if that matters). Anyway, we're most likely keeping her and it doesn't matter if she is or isn't a "red legged" - I'm just wondering how that pops up in a line, etc., does anyone know about how out of several generations of beautiful silky coats a red legged one would pop up (in case she is) (She's 4 1/2 months old)
I've read several old posts here and researched it bit online but no one seems to know how/if this pops up. Anyone have any knowledge on that aspect?
Thanks!
