I lost my boy, Chaucer, 2/25/10 after 17 amazing years. I wore his dog collar and tags as a bracelet every day for 6 months after he passed. It really helped me to continue to feel close to him although when the tags would jingle it often made me cry but I know it made a difference in my grieving process. After 6 months the hole in the collar was showing signs of wear so I retired the bracelet to the shelf with his ashes and other memorial items so it would not fall off my arm and be lost some place.

I LOVE this necklace! Our new/future puppy was born 3 days ago so we will have new life in our home again in a couple of months. This necklace would be perfect to help me keep Chaucer always with me and our new baby!

I should mention for those who believe in fate or destiny, that the new puppy was born on the SAME date as our Chaucer. I got serious goosebumps when the breeder called to say the puppies had come on the same date. We chose the breeder a couple of weeks ago before the babies were born and in the back of my mind I thought...wouldn't it be amazing if the new pups came on the 19th? And they did. Freakish fate!
