My oldest didn't get her permit till she was 18. She wasn't ready and I wasn't going to make her do it. My middle daughter was there the day she turned 16. She had saved enough money to buy her first car and pays her own insurance. She is a planner and saver. Now my son who is the youngest turned 16 two weeks ago, hasn't even shown any interest at all. I will just wait until he shows interest and take it from there. I wouldn't push. It is a big responsibility. |
