I don't have any advice but I sure can sympathize. Chloe goes completely nuts everytime we go near the door. She begins when we put our shoes on or start to get ready to leave. She knows our habits better than we do. We have tried everything, if you figure it out please let me know what you did that worked. Btw, we have two, I too thought this might help, never phased her.
