when my yorkie was a puppy and I was growing it out.....what I called devil horns or basically two little top knots like a maltese have worked amazing because the hair is so short...having dental bands,a rat tail comb and suture scissors helps out as well to cut the bands out so you don't break the hair removing it...it is best to fix their hair daily..it will grow before you know it though...the biggest issue I had with her as a puppy though was a bad groomer I took her too shaved the top of her nose it took me eons to get her hair to sit down and I used vaseline because it was soooo slick and only to prevent the hairs from poking in her eyes....if that wasn't the case i'd have tried some hair gel of some sort |
