I am so, so sorry to hear about your loss. Our little furbabies are just that - they're our babies and a huge part of our lives. Of course you feel like a part of you is missing, because your sweet little baby isn't with you! That's totally normal, and I hope you give yourself time to grieve however you need to.

I lost my precious Lola on Christmas in a car accident, so I understand having something happen very quickly and unexpectedly. When it first happened I couldn't even function. Everyone told me that it would get easier, but I didn't believe them and didn't see how it could. But it does. You won't miss your baby any less, but somehow life goes on (even though it feels like it shouldn't when something this awful happens) and you get through it. Something that helps me is remembering that even though we can't see them, they are always with us. They're waiting for us at the rainbow bridge, and I just picture my little girl with teeny angel wings. We will see them again someday. My heart goes out to you and you'll be in my prayers. If you need an ear to listen or a shoulder to cry on, I'm here!
