Your vet is correct, EVO is far too high in fat and protein for a dog with pancreatitis. This is also what is causing the crumbly stools you asked about in your other post.
Someone with more experience with pancreatitis can give you suggestions for kibble. If I recall correctly, many people have had to use a prescription low residue diet.
