I also had a sleep study over 5 years ago and luckly I do not have to take anything to sleep now. But I have a very rigid routine, I need to be in bed by 10:00 pm and up by 6:30 am (yes even on the weekends).
No napping, very little caffiene, no sugar if possible.
I would suggest maybe a sleep study if you haven't had one yet. It changed my life for the better.
