Trazadone didn't do a bleepin' thing for me either, in fact it kind of made me more alert.
I have to take Ambien in order to sleep thru the night. Otherwise, I'll wake up all night long. I've had a sleep study and have very resistant insomnia. Try the regular Ambien first (rather than Ambien CR) bc it's way cheaper than the newer Ambien.
