I wanted to post here because I have been blessed with having some really good friends here - too many to name... but want to post a big thank you to them and you all know who you are
and to share something that really touched me this morning -
I live in a regular neighborhood - every so often I see this old man walking around with a trash bag....this morning...I was taking out my trash and this little spanish man was digging around in it looking for cans. I've seen him before and left cans out for him.... but this morning - it's COLD and Christmas time....
Oh wow - I felt SO bad for him that I ran in the house and got what cash I had (which was NOT much) and ran back outside - he was so embarrassed to be in the trash - and when I handed him the little bit of money - he actually got tears in his eyes.
THAT is how I feel when I've been blessed by some of the members of this site and I wanted to share this....That little old man who doesn't speak English kissed my hand and went on his way and I felt very good that even though WE are struggling - I could so something that small and feel so good.....
