I will be getting a new yorkie in March. I had a yorkie before and he was strictly outdoor trained. However, our climate is so cold and I hate making their little bladders "hold it". I was looking at a product called the Wiz Dog but was wondering if this was too confusing...would it make him think he is allowed to pee in the house? There is another one called the pup head portable dog potty. This has a reall smell of grass. Would this be better because he would know he can only go on that and it smells like outdoors? When we are home, I am going to train him to ask to go outside but in very frigid temperatures and when we are gone, i was goine to put one of these type devices next to the door.
