This part of your message bothered me. I have tile through out my house as many members do and my gang really roughhouse and no one has had these problems. Is he jumping down from the couch/bed? This is a No No, He is crying because he is in pain? Something doesn't sound right to me. He shouldn't be always hurting his legs because he is sliding. What exactly did your vet do with him when he examined him? just feel his legs? Yorkies are prone to some problems that could be your problem. Are you comfortable with your vet? Have you studied some of the issues Yorkies have and tried to compare them to your baby? You might want to do some research on YT for LP or goggle the internet. I honestly do not think food will correct this problem.
