Owls, hawks, coyotes and what all, we have them also. The other morning my dh went out to get wood for our wood stove and warned me to be careful he heard an owl. But we have a pair of hawks that fly around our 2 acres all the time. They have got many a bird from my back yard. I never let Winston out alone, he is always with a leash or vest because I am just too afraid. I waited a long time for him and I don't want to lose him. At night we let him use the pads rather than take him out, its safer that way.
