I would get it done.

THat's how the vet found the kidney disease in my dog (not yorkie) Because of that we have been able to adjust her diet and so far we have had 5 years with her when the vet figured 2 max.

My yorkie, Rosie, has had her pre surgery blood work done already for Friday and I know she's healthy.
