Thank you all for the prayers, well-wishes & words of encouragement.
Patti - his BUN is 174 and creatine is 3.
So far his Dr hasnt prescribed a special diet but said they will do that when I bring him home (hopefully Sat).
I left a message earlier for the breeder so I'm hoping she will call me soon. When he had the seizure over the summer I spoke to her and she said she has never had any puppies have any liver or seizure disorders. But I'm not sure if I mentioned this but Max was the runt so I'm not sure if that's played apart.
I'm hoping & praying they caught it early - scary thing about it I cant help but not wonder what would have happened if I hadnt taken him to get his shots....then I would have never known until it was probably too late.
To see him, he acts fine. He has never been a real playful dog (in terms of toys). ....he is actually very laid back. We often joke that he's actually a little human - I wish I knew how to post his picture so you could put a face to the name, LOL.
Max is by far the best dogs I have ever had...super smart, great disposition, no barking problems, no aggresiveness, great with kids and just always very happy & loving. My biggest fear was another dog attacking him or him getting hurt because he's so little - not this. And in reading different post, it seems like kidney disease happens alot in these little guys. I'm wondering if I should start looking for another one....
Thank you all for the helpful links and resources - I truly appreciate it very very much.
