Spay, spay, spay. If you don't agree, look at the hundreds and hundreds of yorkies currently up for adoption on various rescue sites. There are too many dogs and not enough homes. End the needless suffering of dogs and spay your little girl.
Many people buy pups from breeders with good intent of raising them and taking care of them. Unfortunately, many of these dogs end up at the pound (yes, even yorkies!). Vinnie, my older yorkie, was dropped off at a pound when his owners decided they simply didn't have the time for him. Alex met the same fate at barely 4 years of age.
