Oliver is my first yorkie and he is VERY healthy, he eats regularly and has never shown any sign of being ill. I'm just wondering if anyone that has had a 3 1/2 pound yorkie can tell me if they expect him to get any bigger by a year old or if this is normal and I shouldn't worry. Thanks friends, I'm such a worry wort sometimes!!
At 10 months of age I would say he's pretty much done growing. If he's eating well, active I wouldn't worry too much. Does he appear underweight, skinny....I wouldn't worry. Now I will say I have a pet girl that was about 3 pounds and stayed there until she was a year old.....then I think the Miracle Grow starting working. She now weighs 7 pounds....she grew.

How your little guy is growing is very dependent on his background. All based on his genetics...he may just be where he's going to be......
