I agree with the recommendation of chicken and rice. Use a skinless breast to avoid too much fat, and bake or simmer in water, then shred. Cook rice in water. No butter or seasoning in the chicken or the rice. I started out with about 1/4 chicken to 1 rice and added a little more chicken with each meal until I had a 1:1 combo. I also put them in the blender (adding a little of the defatted broth from cooking the chicken if the mix was too gooey). This kept Tallulah from picking out the chicken. If you warm it up a little (not too hot) the aroma might make it more tempting for the puppy.
