I totally understand about the shopping...I've done MORE than my fair share!! With Maya (my 7 mo. old) I put a deposit down on her 4 weeks before she was ready to come home, so I had to do a little shopping to keep my excitement at bay too!!

Spaying her SHOULDN'T affect her weight....it can effect some other things we can talk about later (nothing huge, just some things I learned after Bella's spay), BUT as you know, they're all different, so I suppose it's not out of the question. If she's at a good weight for her frame now, then I'm sure she'll stay within a few ounces of that weight from now on.
Can't wait to hear more about her when you have her...and can't wait to have a play date!!!
