You should be grooming your puppy every day...brush and comb, get him used to grooming. Make sure all the tangles are out and bathe him at leat every two weeks...nails need trimming every 2 to 3 weeks...
My guess on his weight would be a guess...but you should double at 12 weeks...if he was 3 pounds at that time, he will run 6 to 7 pound range. 4 pounds at 14 weeks makes me think about 8 to 9...
