Because calories vary so much depending on the ingredients, I can't give you any suggestions for volume. Ellie (spayed and moderately active) was thought to need about 180 (will check when I get home) calories daily (plus more to gain weight). So that is 30 calories/pound for a spayed female who doesn't do anything strenuous.
The nutritionist should figure this for you b/c they use a formula that takes energy requirement into consideration. Or if you really don't want to talk to them, then you could do 3/4 - 1 cup a day for an average size Yorkie.
