Hi everyone. I just signed up for YorkieTalk because I have had 4 Yorkies whom have all passed away from major illnesses. I have tried to force myself into liking another breed but just can't do it. So...After having gone through the pain and anguish of watching my dogs die terrible deaths, I do not want to go through that again. I have 2 questions...How do you check to make sure that the Yorkie you get is healthy? and Other than spending 3,000 at breeders, is there a rescue where I can adopt a Yorkie and save it's life?
