I am glad you are getting him to a vet this morning. When I brought Cali home at 9 weeks she had kennel cough and gave it to my older pom. They were on antibiotics for 2 rounds
to help prevent it going into a bacterial infection. It took 3 months for both of them to get over it completely. I just had them checked by my vet a few times to make sure it hadn't gone in to pneumonia. I also would watch for signs of hypoglycemia (low sugar). Cali had a few of them since she also had coccidia which along with the kennel cough, her age and not wanting to eat made her more prone to it. I hope your baby feels better soon.
