The thing is, any further testing you get done will more than likely be repeated by the vet where you choose to go should she be a good surgical candidate.

You should probably compare prices on shunt/kidney stone surgery... the differences could be in the thousands...

Did you ask your vet if he would give you a referral? You'll need copies of her records and all test results... you could ask for that now... If he won't refer you, you will need to see another vet with your records....

Maybe go to the place Kerrie recommended for an ultrasound as they are experienced with LS (from your other thread), then make a decision, the US is the least expensive test to have repeated

You can call UT and talk to the operator or someone in the Small Animal dept... explain your situation... they will be able to help decide....

But, because of her kidney stones, you will need to get a move on, the healthier she is the better surgery will go...
