Default My puppy thinks click means sit and treat only.

I just started clicker training my 3 month old yorkie.
Already she is outsmarting me.
I am amazed how smart yorkies are.

I want to use the clicker right, to always make sure she gets positive praise.
She knows sit and down.
I might be rushing, but whenever I try to praise her on a behaviour I like for example:; Playing with toys instead of biting, potty in the right area, being still.
The minute I click and reward for good behaviour, she gets up all excited, starts to sit pretty, thinking plenty more is coming So she follows me around, looks at me with pretty eyes, sits down and waits for her treat. When nothing happens she then gets mad and starts nipping at my feet I still do nothing since that was not what I was rewarding.
These days all she does is run up to me and sits pretty and expects a treat (it is very cute, but I dont think in the long haul this would be good to reward)

Did I start off wrong? Or is it because she is still a puppy?
Any advice on starting off clicker training I appreciate.
