These last few months have been hard...
I went for a check up and was told I have abnormal cells and am at risk for cervical cancer. I will be going back in April to get another checkup to see if it has progress...on that note I urged fellow friends at work to get check ups. We are RN's and most of them don't take care of themselves. So one of my best friends went in and found out she has 12+ masses growing pretty much everywhere.
Her primary told her if she doesn't have kids now she never will.
So, she went to a specialist and will find out her options this week, then she is taking off a few weeks of work to decide what to do. I've been strong for her and we throw the different options back and forth to try to help with a decision. Please pray for my friend. I was so worried about my situation at first and now all I can do is cry hoping that my friend is okay. I might be in her shoes down the road but at least I have time to think about what I can do. I just pray she will be okay.
