I'm really nervous. My 9 week old puppy started coughing this evening. Sounds like kennel cough. I read it's dangerous in young puppies, could result in death.
Right now he still playful, but has this awful hacking honk like cough. He's wrenching a lot too.
I noticed he didn't eat as much today.
I have an appt with the vet tomorrow afternoon but I know I will
Be a basketcase til then.
Just wanna hear abt others whose young pups had kennel cough too, how long will my baby be sick? How sick could he get. What can I do to help him?
I've had a few dogs over the years, but none have ever got sick..so I'm not used to this.
