If you aren't providing pee pads, she doesn't have an idea of where to go to potty and she won't ever be able to hold it all day at her size in all probability. I think if you use pee pads both of you will be happier. She will have a designated place to go to and you can easily change out her pads when you come home. I would try placing two at first. And please as the others have stated, never deny any dog food and water. Good luck with training, even tho Yorkies can be dificult to potty-train, at her age, she will probably catch on quickly.
