Question: Paisley is kept in my washroom while we are away for work. When I get home, she has used the bathroom inside. I was wondering do you know of a daily feeding routine that would pretty much have her using the bathroom in the evening (after 4:00) and in the morning. I understand when you gotta go-you gotta go. ha
Do you reccommend her having access to water and food at all times? Thanks in advance. |
First, hello to another yorkie talker from Arkansas. I am closer to the Fort Smith area but love Hot Springs!!
I let Rosie have access to her food and water at all times. I have never had any trouble.
When were were training her, we limited her to our bathroom with puppy pads down when we were gone. Then as she started to use the bathroom outside more we opened it up to the master bedroom and bathroom. As we continued and she became potty trained, she had full run of the house. Once in a blue moon she might have an accident. Usually it will be if we are gone too long. Puppy pads were a life saver through the training process. I highly recommend them.
