You might look into pet insurance. I have it for my girls and since Chloe has LP and might have to have surgery in the future, it will pay the major part of the cost. If Fido's condition is such that he can wait for the pre-existing period to pass then he would be covered. Something to consider. Btw, Chloe has NEVER cried out in pain even tho I know sometimes she is hurting, you can't always go by the noises they make or don't make. Good luck.
