Willow started to show just two days prior to her spay date, then my Vet wouldn't spay for awhile to allow her harmones to settle and complete the heat cycle even tho she was no longer showing. She began Labor Day weekend and my Vet wouldn't spay until around the 1st of Dec. Then I didn't want to have it done so close to Christmas resulting her her spay not actually happening until Jan. Until this happened, I thought when they stopped showing, around a month, it was over. There is a lot that goes on with these little guys that most of us don't know about and that's another reason for unmentored people not to breed so willy nilly like some seem so eager to do.
