I picked up Rizzo and started walking away since I couldn't find the big dogs owner. He starts to follow us?? Finally his owner realizes that her dog wandered off, and I'm feeling a bit distressed. The dog does seem friendly and not interested in eating Rizzo, but Rizz hates being crowded by huge dogs and sometimes bites at them. The big dog owner yells out "don't worry, he's friendly" as if that excuses him not being on a leash and harassing any passersbyers. It is incredibly irritating having to deal with people that can't follow a single rule, keep your pet on a leash! What's even more irritating is there is an OFF LEASH dog park not 40 feet from where she was plopped down at.

"Don't worry, he's friendly" seems to be a really overused excuse. I've heard that before. Dumb people don't realize that having their dog on a leash protects their dogs too. If Max would have bit that dog, who would have gotten in more trouble? Me, for having an "aggressive" dog!
